Founded by Tahlia Mandie, who was inspired to highlight local superfoods rather than imported ones, they exist as a vessel to share incredible native ingredients - like the vitamin-rich Kakadu Plum - with the wider world.

More than just a food brand, they are deeply committed to creating positive impact. While not an Indigenous-owned business themselves, they work directly and collaboratively with Traditional Owners and Indigenous communities who wild-harvest their range. Importantly, these communities set their own prices, ensuring they are paid directly and fairly for their work. By bringing these ancient flavours into modern homes, Kakadu Plum Co. aims to foster traditional practices and help Indigenous bush food businesses grow on Country, offering a warm and delicious way for everyone to connect with the oldest foods on earth.
