On a mission to help untrash the planet of single-use plastic

Good Citizens Eyewear was born over a family dinner discussion about global plastic waste. Harry (8) and Archie (6) were upset about the plastic waste issue and they hassled Mum and Dad to step up. Together (with no experience), they hatched a plan to help untrash the planet®.

They scribbled down four guiding principles:

1) Only use 100% recycled materials


2) Make products that last


3) Don't exploit people or the planet


4) Employees get time with their kids or loved ones.

It would take 752 days and thousands of failed attempts to finally launch Good Citizens Eyewear in 2020, and the brand continues today with their founding principles still at the core of every decision they make.
